Tribal Public Health Liaison
All Maine Tribes (Based at Maliseet Tribal Nation)


Clarissa Webber is a member of the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, and is one of two Tribal Public Health Liaisons serving Maine Tribes. In this position, Clarrisa is actively taking part in the development of a new tribal public health infrastructure, and she works with various public health entities, with an overarching goal of making a positive impact on the health status of Maine’s tribal communities. Along with her primary position as a Liaison, she has E.R. experience and currently works on Acute and Skilled Units at a local hospital. Clarrisa serves as a voting member on Maine’s State Public Health Coordinating Council, as well as various District Coordinating Councils. In addition, she has participated in the HealthyMaine 2020 Health Equity Workgroup.
