Tom Anderson is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation. He directs programs and public health services for the Oklahoma Area Tribal Epidemiology Center of the Oklahoma City Area Inter Tribal Health Board (the Board). The Board serves 43 federally recognized tribes in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas. He is actively involved in numerous tribal health and tribal public health issues at local, regional, and national levels. He serves tribes and communities through his active participation on tribal workgroups, boards, task forces, tribal consortiums, and planning committees.
